Serre Chevalier Valley offers a stunning alpine setting where the authenticity of several villages - Briançon, Chantemerle, Villeneuve, and Le Monêtier-les-Bains - blends with the modernity of a major international resort. The Serre Chevalier Vallée area is one of the largest in the Southern Alps, offering 250 km of varied slopes, ranging from 1,200 m to 2,800 m in altitude. With 81 slopes served by 60 lifts, the area guarantees skiing for all levels, from wide family runs to technical descents. The maximum vertical drop reaches 1,600 m, and more than 1,000 snow-making machines ensure snow throughout the winter. There are also large freeride areas, snowparks, boardercross, and forest sections that are very popular for skiing in bad weather.
